Do you use live bait?
I will accommodate my customers needs and will do whatever they want. I like to use lures almost indefinitely but I prefer using live bait for younger kids.
How many fish can we keep?
Daily bag limits are as follows (per person):
5 spotted sea trout (speckled trout) from 15” to 25”
3 red drum (redfish) from 20” to 28”
5 flounder over 14”
What time do we leave the dock
We will leave when we can safely navigate the water just before sunrise.

When is the best time of the year to book a trip?
According to past logs, the better fishing months in our areas as far as numbers are May, June, October, November, and December.
According to past logs the better fishing months in our areas as far as trophy size fish is January, February, March, and December.
Fish stage in different areas as the temperature rises and falls, so I move with the fish. I will abandon areas completely during certain times of the year.
What should I bring for my fishing trip?
Sun glasses, sun screen, loose quick dry clothing, any special drinks or snacks, camera, cooler to take home fish, and rain jacket if rain is forecasted.
What kind of lures should I bring?
Bring a few of your favorites but ask me before the trip and I’ll tell you what the fish are hitting on. Please leave the big tackle bag at home; I’ll have lures.
What type of rod and reel should I bring to fish with?
A 6’6” medium/Light bait casting or spinning rod with a bait casting reel or spinning reel spooled up with 30
pound test Power Pro Slick braid green color.
What type of wading gear should I bring?
Wade belt, pliers, stringer, net, fishing line clippers, wading boots, waders in the colder months.
